By accessing or using Speaking Genie's AI language learning platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

These terms are available in English, Arabic and Spanish. If the versions differ, the English version applies.

Speaking Genie provides an AI-powered language learning platform that offers:

Voice Analysis

Voice recognition and pronunciation analysis, with feedback after each practice call

Speaking Practice

Personalized speaking practice exercises tailored to your goals

Analytics

Progress tracking and reporting for students, teachers, and centers

AI Feedback

Algorithmic-generated feedback and personalized recommendations

3.1 Account Types

  • Learner Accounts: For individual learners, including Speak to Hire candidates and learners invited by a language center or company
  • Organization Accounts: For language centers, companies and other organizations that buy practice hours for their students or teams
  • Staff Users: Admins, teachers and other staff who manage learners and reports in an organization's dashboard

3.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our service. Users under 18 require parental consent. Learning centers must be legitimate educational institutions recognized by local authorities.

Our AI technology provides language learning assistance but has inherent limitations:

  • AI feedback is not a substitute for professional human instruction
  • Pronunciation analysis accuracy depends on audio quality and connection
  • Learning recommendations are algorithmic and may not suit every learning style
  • Service availability depends on active internet connectivity and server uptime
  • Provide accurate and updated account information
  • Use the service for legitimate educational purposes only
  • Respect intellectual property rights and platform licensing
  • Report technical issues or inappropriate content promptly

6.1 Billing

Individual plans are billed monthly in advance. Speak to Hire is paid once. Organizations prepay for practice hours. Learner prices are listed on our website; organization rates depend on volume and are quoted on the demo call. Prices are subject to change with 30 days prior notice to active subscribers.

6.2 Cancellation and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings or by contacting us
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the final paid billing period
  • We do not refund partial billing periods. Refunds and their exceptions are set out in our Payment and Refund Policy
  • Institutional subscriptions may have specific terms defined in their custom contracts

Speaking Genie owns all rights to the platform, AI technology, educational content, and related intellectual property. Users retain full ownership rights to their unique voice recordings and personal learning data logs.

8. User-Generated Content

  • You retain ownership of your voice recordings and learning progress data
  • You grant us a license to process recordings for AI analysis and service improvement
  • Anonymized and aggregated data may be used to enhance our core AI models
  • You may delete your recordings and logs at any time via account settings

Your privacy is paramount. Please review our full Privacy Policy to understand our data handling practices, specially regarding voice biometric data and educational records.

Speaking Genie provides the service "as is". We are not liable for learning outcomes, indirect damages, or service interruptions caused by factors beyond our reasonable technological control.

We reserve the right to terminate access for violations of these terms, fraud, or non-payment. Upon termination, users have 30 days to export their learning data before complete deletion.

We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via your registered email. Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
