Know who is ready to take the call
Speaking Genie is AI speaking practice for teams that talk to clients. Your team practices AI voice calls built from its own scenarios and scripts, and L&D sees hours, level and readiness for each team member. Hours cost 60 to 120 EGP, and the first month with one team is a free pilot.

They passed the English test. Then the phone rang.
A written test shows what a team member knows. A live call shows whether they can say it under pressure, with a client waiting on the line.
Dead air on live calls
Agents who pass a written grammar test still go silent or misunderstand an agitated client on a live call. The result is low CSAT and, for a BPO, lost client contracts.
Generic classes miss the job
Classes and apps teach general English, not the late delivery a support team handles or the price objection a sales team answers.
L&D can’t say who is ready
Without a measure of speaking, no one can say who is ready for client-facing work, or what the training changed.
Upskill the team, screen new hires, show the result
Upskill current teams
Scenario practice written from the team’s own calls and scripts, with a readiness score for each team member.
Screen candidates on speaking
Candidates who complete the 30-hour Speak to Hire program come with verified practice hours and a speaking-hours certificate. How Speak to Hire works
Prove the training worked
Practice hours and readiness set against the investment per team member, in numbers L&D can take to leadership.

Practice the call before it’s real
Five examples of calls built from a team’s own material. The curriculum builder turns service scripts, sales playbooks and glossaries into calls like these, each with a clear goal.
Customer service
“The late delivery”: calm an upset client and agree the next step.
Sales
“It’s too expensive”: hold the value without dropping the price.
Engineering
“The outage update”: explain what broke and when it will be fixed.
Graduate hiring
“The first interview”: answer clearly under pressure.
Managers
“The hard feedback”: say the difficult thing clearly and kindly.
Choose a call, take it, then improve with feedback.
Pick the call, talk it through with the AI partner, and get sentence-level feedback straight after: what was said, and a better way to say it.
Example scenario: support agents who pass the test and go quiet on the call
What L&D and HR see
Six tools to shape the practice, run it across teams and show who is ready.
Curriculum builder
Upload a service script, sales playbook or product glossary, and get calls for the exact module the team is on.
Assign tasks
Send the week’s call to a team. Team members take it in the app at a time that fits their shift, and scores come back after each call.
Track progress
Hours, level, readiness and score change since week 1, per team member and per team.
ROI tracker
The figures leadership asks for at renewal: hours practiced and team members ready for client calls, next to the investment.
Speaking-hours certificates
A verified credential with the team member’s name, program hours and issue date, for reviews, promotions and client assignments.
Group report
The team’s shared weak spots, quoted with corrections, plus a tip for the trainer and a suggested task, as a PDF.
An investment per team member, with a return L&D can show
Every figure below shows its method. The two value drivers are assumptions, and the calculator takes a team’s own numbers.
For example, 10 practice hours a month at 100 Egyptian pounds an hour is an investment of 1,000 Egyptian pounds per team member a month. Assuming a value of 2,500 Egyptian pounds a month from month 2, the smaller of a hiring premium avoided and one extra 30,000-pound deal a year, the return is 67 percent at 3 months and 129 percent at 12 months.
Return is the value minus the investment, divided by the investment. At 3 months, 5,000 minus 3,000, divided by 3,000. At 12 months, 27,500 minus 12,000, divided by 12,000.
Tutors work well, but they are hard to scale across shifts and teams, and speaking in front of a person is not judgment-free.
The hourly rate is 60–120 EGP depending on volume, quoted on the demo. No per-seat fee.

In our agency, English is part of the job. Not in theory — in meetings, tools, and daily work. What I saw in Speaking Genie is exactly what my team needs: real practice, built around how we actually work.

What L&D and HR teams ask before a pilot
Speaking Genie gives each team member AI voice calls built from the company’s own scenarios and scripts. A team member chooses a call, talks it through with an AI partner in the Speaking Genie app at any time, and gets sentence-level feedback straight after. L&D assigns calls to teams and follows hours, level and readiness in the dashboard.
Speaking Genie is for teams whose work depends on speaking with clients or colleagues: customer service and BPO or call-center agents, sales, engineering, graduate hires and managers. Each team practices calls built from its own material, such as a service script, a sales playbook or a product glossary.
For a company, Speaking Genie is an investment per team member. For example, 10 practice hours a month at 100 EGP an hour comes to 1,000 EGP per team member per month. The hourly rate falls between 60 and 120 EGP depending on volume, and the exact rate is quoted on the demo.
The Speaking Genie dashboard shows practice hours, level, readiness and score change per team member and per team, and the ROI tracker sets them against the investment per team member. In the worked example, return is (value − investment) ÷ investment: at 1,000 EGP per team member a month, with an assumed value of 2,500 EGP a month from month 2, the return is 67% at 3 months and 129% at 12 months.
Yes. Speaking Genie runs a free one-month pilot with one team, set up on a 30-minute demo using the team’s own scripts or scenarios. The company and Speaking Genie agree on the demo what the pilot will measure, and no credit card is needed.
L&D shares a join link from the Speaking Genie dashboard. Team members install the Speaking Genie app on iOS or Android, join their team and practice there. Calls can be taken at any time, so practice fits around shifts and meetings, and the company sets how many hours each team member can use a month.
Team members practice in the Speaking Genie app. In the Speaking Genie dashboard, each role sees only what its permissions allow, and the company’s admin decides which roles see what. The Speaking Genie privacy policy explains what is collected, and IT and InfoSec questions are answered on the demo.
Speak to Hire is a 30-hour speaking-practice program in the Speaking Genie app. Candidates who complete it come with verified practice hours and a speaking-hours certificate, so a hiring team can see their speaking practice before the interview. Speak to Hire is about speaking readiness; hiring decisions stay with the company.
English is the main practice language on Speaking Genie, with Spanish, German, French and Italian also offered.
